Collegium Maius, located about 1.5 kilometers from Szujskiego Street, is the oldest building of the Jagiellonian University and one of Krakow's most important monuments. Founded in the 14th century, Collegium Maius impresses with its Gothic architecture and historical heritage. Visit the university museum housed in the building to see the unique collections, including old scientific tools, manuscripts and memorabilia related to the university's history. The courtyard of the Collegium Maius is also the site of many cultural and scientific events.
